| Odd Tales and Other Short Stories by Howard B. Freedman | |

An Even Number Of Odd Tales is my debut book of twelve short stories. Within it you will find a few tales grounded in the science fiction genre, while others stray into the realms of magic, the supernatural and other worldly dimensions. However, a lighter, more humorous side comes through on yet a few others. With the exception that they might all be considered a little odd, there is no underlying theme to the collection which includes “The Hole in the Sky” about a not too distant future world where the government has kept a dark secret about their beginnings, “Forever” where the haunting a man has never managed to leave behind merges with what he recently tries to forget, and “The Rejuvenator” concerning a geeky love triangle and misconceptions about a secret formula. |

I will make available 1 story to sample on line. The current selection is one from the book. Genesis Pointe is a story of a college professor who has been on thin ice with the university for his beliefs in man's origins. When he gets suspended, an adventure ensues.
